    Seungwon Lee is the technical group supervisor of the Science Data Modeling and Computing Group in Jet Propulsion Laboratory, California Institute of Technology. She has been leading research and technology development tasks for Earth science observation and modeling data analysis, science mission data processing system development, scientific data analysis, observation planning and operation, materials modeling and simulation, scheduling problems, spectral retrieval, cometary nucleus thermal modeling, cometary gas dynamics, remote sensing simulation, and flight-project formulation and proposal development. Her capabilities include project management, data processing system design and engineering, scientific data analysis, physical system and process modeling, radiative transfer modeling, retrieval algorithms, data calibration and validation, web service technologies, statistical methods, optimization algorithms, parallel computing, advanced numerical algorithms, and programming skills in C++, Python, Matlab, IDL, Perl, Fortran, and MPI/OpenMP. Her current responsibilities are the Product Delivery Manager for COWVR and TEMPEST instrument data processing system, a Principal Investigator of the NASA ROSES RDAP program, an Institutional Principal Investigator of the NASA ROSES AIST Program, and a Co-Investigator of the JPL Strategic R&TD project.
